between cultures and worlds
HAVASI believes that music is a bridge between cultures, and he feels a responsibility to give back to music education. He comes to Florida for the U.S. premiere with many excellent musicians from Hungary and they will work closely with the Frost School of Music.
“I owe all my successes to Hungarian music education. Culture is one of our greatest assets, an inexhaustible source of renewal and progress, a form of communication which can bring worlds closer to each other. Music and art have always been key manifestations of culture. This Heritage is our common asset. We should respect and remember it.” - HAVASI
